Blackheath (elevation 1065 metres) is a small town located near the top of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia, 120 kilometres west of Sydney and 11 kilometres northwest of Katoomba. It has a population of between four and five thousand.

Blackheath is a beautiful Blue Mountains village with a busy shopping centre providing everything; the butcher, the baker and even candle sellers! Cafes, restaurants and hotels as well as antique & collectable shops, pre-loved goods and book shops.

The surrounding Megalong Valley and Centennial Glen offer a choice of horse riding and other adventure activities.

Some of the best Blue Mountains bushwalks are in the Blackheath area and other bushwalks and beautiful vistas are ten minutes in either direction in the Katoomba and Mount Victoria areas.
